SPRING ART EXHIBITION

In the “Trash-no-Trash” exhibition, Alina Mondini shows works inspired by the Arte Povera movement. Alina composes her three-dimensional, sometimes humorous works from everyday materials found by chance, which she combines to give them a new meaning.

Workshop – Falahi Tatreez Embroidery

The art of Palestinian embroidery, known as Falahi Tatreez, has always been integral to Palestinian heritage. Falahi Tatreez is an intricate embroidery art form that requires patience, dedication, and precision. From the choice of fabric to the colours of thread and the symbols, Palestinian traditions are expressed in Tatreez embroidery.

The workshop is co-hosted with SEP. It is a beginner’s introduction to cross-stitching. Auriana Benia will take you through the history and significance of Palestinian embroidery and you will be given the basic tools to truly enjoy the Art of Embroidery.
